                                                  Obesity: A Dangerous Disease
There are many things which affect human lives, such as obesity. If someone has obesity and he has never been sick, this does not mean he will stay in good health for many years .Or he may not have any health problems and live a happy life. But, everyone knows that obesity has become a growing problem in the United States of America and the whole world. For example,    United States of America has the highest obesity rate in the world and then Mexico came in the second. Popular opinion said that obesity is a genetic thing, which came from our parents and grandparents for a long time. But the truth is that obesity came from our lifestyle.

According to Ecureme ,“Obesity has incredible side effects Such as high blood pressure, Heart disease, Hardening of the arteries, Diabetes, Dyspepsia , Hyperlipidemia , Decline in libido and Skin Disease’’(Ecureme). So, we have to be careful about obesity. For example, I have a cousin whose name Abdullah. He was overweight, when he was 14 years old. We were playing outside. Suddenly, he felt so tired and then he felt unconscious on the floor. His mother called his father to take him to the hospital. The father took Abdullah to the hospital and they did X-ray examinations and blood tests. After that, the doctor came to his room to take his patient history. Then, his father went to the doctor and asked him what happened. The doctor said Abdullah had Diabetes. So, we should be careful about obesity, because obesity has become a growing problem in these years. And I do not want children get obese. Also, obesity will effect children more than adult .Because children do not have the ability to carry these diseases same the adult
American people are getting fatter despite one third of all adults trying to lose weight at any given time. A staggering 30 billion dollars are being spent annually on weight loss products and promotions, However as a nation we are gaining weight at an unprecedented rate. Some statistics report that approximately half of all adults in this country can be considered overweight and nearly one third can be classified as obese. Childhood obesity has also doubled in the last 20 years. These epidemic proportions have forced the medical community, fitness and health professionals, dieticians, and government agencies to wage a war on obesity. Former President Clinton was even encouraged to declare obesity a national health crisis and in 1998 the World Health Organization officially declared obesity a disease. (Stephen D. Ball).
There are some statistics Results from the 2005-2006 National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES), using measured heights and weights for human beings , indicate that an estimated 32.7 percent of U.S. adults 20 years and older are overweight, 34.3 percent are obese and 5.9 percent are extremely obese (NHANES) .So, right now, it means each year the number of obese people is increasing specifically northeastern and western states continue to dominate the states with the lowest rates of obesity. Also, the first state with highest obesity rates is Mississippi that in 2005 – 2007. The second most obese state in 2005-2007 is West Virginia. The Third most obese state in 2005-2007 is Alabama. The 7th most obese state in 2005-2007 is Kentucky. And the state that I lived in is Kentucky.
‘’There are many causes for obesity such as, Genetic Factors , Psychological Factors , Environmental Factors and  other causes ‘’(Anne Collins). First, Genetic Factors, Obesity tends to run in families, suggesting a genetic link. However families also share diet and lifestyle habits that may also contribute to obesity. Separating these factors from purely genetic factors is not easy. The Second way is Psychological Factors. Also influence eating habits. Many people eat in response to negative emotions such as boredom, sadness, or anger. In my opinion this reason is most popular in our life. There are many people, when they became sad or angry, eat too many unhealthy food to feel comfortable. Also, people who have some illnesses can lead to obesity or to gain weight. These include hypothyroidism, depression, and certain neurological problems that can lead to overeating. Also, drugs such as steroids and some antidepressants may cause lead weight.
Third Environmental Factors are imported. Environment is one of the strong influences for obesity. This includes lifestyle behavior such as what a person eats and his or her level of physical activity. Of course, it’s imported for people with obesity problems to exercise and do some sports that going to help them to lose weight as well to be healthier.  The Environmental Factors will effect on the person who has obesity. Forth other causes, Maybe Some illnesses can lead to obesity or a tendency to gain weight. These include Hypothyroidism. Or, drugs such as steroids and some antidepressants may cause weight gain. Those causes are most dangers for human who has obesity. After these Factors everyone who has obese should be careful about these causes. Because this causes will make you become over weight. Also, obesity makes the body look not good.
According to the info online.” There are many ways to treat obesity and reach a healthier weight .Such as Dietary changes, Exercise and activity, Prescription weight loss medications and Weight loss surgery’’ (clinic staff). First, Dietary changes it mean reducing daily calorie intake and eating healthier are vital to overcoming obesity. Slow and steady weight loss of 1 or 2 pounds (1/2 to 1 kilogram) a week is considered the safest way to lose weight and the best way to keep it off permanently. Also there is other ways to lose weight.
Second, Exercise and activity, one of the best ways to lose body fat is through regular aerobic exercise, such as walking, cycling, stair climbing or swimming. Physical activity needs at least 150 minutes a week to prevent further weight gain or to lose a modest amount of weight.  If someone is obese maybe he or she needs to get as much as 250 to 300 minutes of exercise a week to lose more weight.
Third, Prescription weight loss medications, but I believe it's best to lose weight through a healthy diet and regular exercise. In certain situations, prescription weight loss medication maybe a good idea for people whom really need it for example people with some kind of genetic problems, of course with a doctor advising. Forth, Weight loss surgery in some cases, weight loss surgery, also it is called bariatric surgery, sometimes is weight loss surgery an option. Weight loss surgery offers the best chance of losing the most weight, but it can pose serious risks. However it might cost a lot of money.

Finally, obesity has become a dangers disease in the United States of America and the whole world. Obesity has incredible side effects facts. Such as high blood pressure , Heart disease, Hardening of the arteries , Diabetes , Dyspepsia , Hyperlipidemia , Decline in libido and Skin Disease.
